“We want to be part of an organisation that deals with the same issues we do. Lately there have been many questions about the regulations on plastic packaging and how those laws are interpreted, yet no one asks individual manufacturers for their views. Being part of an organisation like this gives us weight and helps lawmakers hear us. We also believe we will find more partners in the community to work with,” says Ernestas Galgatavičius, Director of UAB STRAPA.

The company manufactures PET and PP strapping. PET strapping is exceptionally strong and durable, which makes it a good fit for logistics, manufacturing and construction. PP strapping is strong but flexible, so it works well for both manual and automated packaging. It is also hard-wearing and handles temperature changes, which keeps loads secure in transit.
